Specifically designed for the Sega Dreamcast console, SBF2 balances its focus on fun and realism by replicating real-life lakes and their complete ecology as well as adding a much-anticipated two-player mode. But don’t be surprised if you run into a challenge—the fish are even smarter this time around. Even with 100 lures and the freedom to cast anywhere, you may want to hone your skills by challenging the AI Angler, a computerized opponent who, when defeated, awards you with fishing tips and new lures. You’ll need all of these things if you want to fish masterfully against other top anglers from around the country. This summer, be the first to bring in the big one.
Features
"Sega Bass Fishing 2" is playable via either the standard Dreamcast controller or the innovative force-feedback fishing rod peripheral. Using the fishing rod controller, players can "feel" the game. Just like in real fishing, players whip the rod over their shoulders and cast it out to the lake before them, then attempt to control the unpredictable line tugs as they reel in their struggling catch.
