Description
Museum will feature six of Namco's most popular classic arcade games on a single cartridge. The six games included on Museum are Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Dig-Dug, Galaga, Galaxian and Pole Position. * Includes these 7 classic arcade games! * Galaga: The classic shooter has the player moving a ship across the bottom of the screen as waves of different enemy spacecraft attack by dropping bombs and diving at the player's ships. The player can allow one of his ships to be captured so that he can regain it and have a double-ship shooting craft. * Pac Man: Much those classic pebbles, power-pellets and bonus fruit as you are chased through mazes by the ghosts. * Bosconian: One of the finer space shooters of the original arcade game generation, Bosconian allowed the player to fly in any direction (up, down, left, right, and diagonally) as a variety of enemy ships attack from all sides. The goal is to destroy all of the large green enemy bases on each level before losing your own life. Starting in condition green, the action speeds up in condition yellow and only a truly agile player can maneuver his ship through the multitude of attackers during condition red! * Pole Position: This was one of the first arcade racing games which gave players the real effect of being in the driver's seat. The forerunner of games such as Ridge Racer and Daytona racing, Pole Position included qualifying laps, timed laps, speed, and high scores. All of the original action is included! * Rally X: The overhead view racing game is reproduced with all its original features. * New Rally X: This remake of the original Rally X is also flawlessly reproduced. * Toypop: This tank/puzzle game may not have been as popular as the other titles includedin Namco's Museum Classics, but it still holds all the features of the original. * Includes all the arcade features: * All the original graphics and sound effects are perfectly reproduced. * These games are not translations, they are the actual emulations of the orignal games with the same programming as the arcade clasics. * Dipswitches allow players to adjust gameplay in the same fashion that arcade owners could adjust the gameplay on the original arcade machines. * Museum option allows you to walk around the museum and learn about each title's historical background, including the designers' original game concepts. Also included is a look at the collectible items that were created as a result of the game's popularity.
