Xtreme Sports Review
Extreme Sports is a game that's NOT for beginners. It's a tough challenging game that will keep you on your toes and your fingers flying to keep up. From the ATV mode to the Sky Surfing mode, you will have to work hard to win on this one. While that's not a bad thing, it does tend to turn off and discourage the younger players. I rather enjoyed the challenges, but my grandchildren said it's just too hard (they are ages 14 and 12) for them to stay interested in it. This is definitely a game that would be enjoyed by the more experienced player.
The graphics and sounds are great, and it has the bonus of having internet options. It is also 2-player and that leads to a lot of fun for the folks that are watching you play. You can do plenty of tricks in all the modes, and this makes for some fantastic screenshots and replays. There are different characters from different countries and they all are pretty cool. The instructions are pretty good, but there could be just a tad more in the way of explanation.
It's a good fun game, but it's definitely NOT for the faint of heart or easily frustrated person.
